Fay Rutter is an antiques dealer, gemmologist and dealer on Dickinson’s Real Deal. She is a gemmologist at The Doghouse Antiques, a family-run antiques business in Walsall.
Fay qualified as a Diamond grader in 2000 and as a Gemmologist in 2003. She then managed jewellers in the jewellery quarter for a couple of years until going back to the family business.

The Doghouse Antiques have a well-established reputation in Walsall and have long been associated with the Antiques trade. They moved to their current location, Bloxwich Road, in August of 1988, buying and selling Reproduction Items, unusual vintage finds, as well as antiques and collectables of every description.
Fay is a supporter of The Great Birmingham Half Marathon for Cystic Fibrosis Trust. The antique dealer raised £1,246 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-limiting genetic condition affecting more than 10,000 people across the UK. It affects the lungs and digestive system and can cause chronic infections and reduced lung function.
