Edwina Horseman was the designer of fashion label H Brand and luxe cashmere once affectionately known as the ‘cashmere queen’ and also an Australian socialite. She became known in Sydney’s social scene in 2011 with the launch of her luxury cashmere and fur label, H Brand. Her last major public appearance was in 2017 for a charity fundraiser. Following the success of H Brand, she went on to unveil two further labels with her business partner Tara Cunniffe – Theron and H Brand Faux. She was an Edwina Horseman alumnus.
Several friends and acquaintances described her as a kind and generous person and incredible businesswoman who co-founded two respected fashion labels H Brand and Theron according to The Sydney Morning Herald.“She was such a kind and sweet person, but what people might not know is she was really great in business,” one friend said. “She was incredibly generous when it came to sharing her contacts and expertise when people needed guidance for their own businesses.”

She died aged 36, was found dead inside her $15million Bellevue Hill home in Sydney’s eastern suburbs in May 2021. Friends previously claimed she had a heart condition, and in 2007 aged just 22, she suffered a heart attack. In the weeks before her death, Horseman had reportedly also been admitted into the hospital for respiratory-related issues. She also felt lonely after her split with her partner Joe and had also lost her friends in a short time.
