Deborah Sun real name Jean Louise Porcuna Salvador, is a former actress, known for roles in movies Pasan ko ang daigdig (1987), Temptation Island (1980) and Pakawalan mo ako (1981).
Sun got hooked on drugs at the height of her career, forcing her to move to the United States in 1989. In that same year, Lorna Tolentino filed an estafa case against her.
When she returned to the Philippines in 2004, she was arrested for violating the anti-bouncing checks law. She was given conditional pardon in 2005 and was released from prison.

Deborah Sun was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Quezon City Police and Philippines Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in a condominium in Cubao, Quezon City on Sunday, September 8, 2019. Sun was arrested along with her daughter Angela and two men identified as Gerald de Guzman and Gonzalo Gonzalez.
The police recovered 7 sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P6,800, drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money. The suspects will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or Sections 5, 11, and 12 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
