Daniel Sloss is a Scottish comedian, actor and writer. He was the youngest comedian to perform a solo season in London’s West End, at the age of 19; he tours widely internationally; signed a DVD deal with BBC Worldwide’s 2Entertain label at aged 20; and has appeared on networked US television programmes including multiple appearances on Conan and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.
On 11th September 2018 (his 28th birthday) Netflix released two 2 hour-long specials, ‘Daniel Sloss – Live Shows’ (2 episodes – ‘DARK’ and ‘Jigsaw’) in 190 countries and in 26 languages. He has also appeared on U.S.A. TV’s ‘Conan’ multiple times, featured on shows including Comedy Central’s ‘Drunk History’, ‘Roast Battles’ and ITV’s ‘Sunday Night at the Palladium,’ according to his official website.
Sloss’ bio on his website states that he “is an internationally acclaimed and award-winning Scottish comedian, who has released 3 comedy specials, created 10 solo shows, and whose extensive global tours receive rave reviews. He has also, for the past 11 years, been one of the biggest ticket sellers at the world’s biggest arts festival, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and performed 5 solo New York seasons off-Broadway, including selling 7,000 seats in February and June 2019.

He attended East Wemyss Primary School and secondary school at Waid Academy in Anstruther. He was offered a place at the University of Dundee to study history but having decided to take a gap year to see if he could make comedy work as his full-time career, he rejected the offer after the 2008 Edinburgh Fringe.
