Dana Finkelstein is an American professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour. Finkelstein started playing golf at the age of 13 years old. She attended the Corona Del Sol High School in Tempe, Arizona. She graduated in 2011. While in high school, she played golf under coach Pat Reed. Finkelstein helped guide the Aztecs to a 45-12-2 mark and three consecutive regional championships between 2008 and 2010. She was also named the Corona del Sol Athlete of the Year following her senior season. Finkelstein recorded five top-five American Junior Golf Association finishes.
She went on to join the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she Majored in kinesiological sciences. She chose the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) over Oregon, Washington, San Diego State, New Mexico State, and Northern Arizona. Between 2012 and 2013, Finkelstein was the Mountain West’s Golfer of the Year after posting nine top-20, five top-10, and two top-five finishes on the year. She won the award three times while at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
In 2015, she recorded three wins on the Cactus Tour. In 2016, Finkelstein won the Garden City Charity Classic at Buffalo Dunes and finished 7th on the Symetra Tour’s Volvik Race for the Card Money List to earn LPGA status for the 2017 season. Finkelstein joined LPGA Tour in 2017, she played 17 events and made seven cuts. In 2018, she finished 10th on the Symetra Tour money list to earn LPGA membership for the 2019 season. When she is not playing golf, Finkelstein enjoys working out, reading, arts and crafts, and video games.
