Craig Carton born Craig Harris Carton, is an American sports radio personality. He is best known as the former co-host of the Boomer and Carton sports radio program on WFAN (AM) in New York City from 2007–2017.
Craig Carton graduated from New Rochelle High School and the S.I. Newhouse School at Syracuse University with a degree in broadcast journalism in 1991. He was also a member of the Pi chapter of Psi Upsilon fraternity during his time at Syracuse University.
Carton was diagnosed with Tourette syndrome in his teens. He launched the Tic Toc Stop Foundation on June 6, 2013. The Tic Toc Stop Foundation is aimed at wiping out Tourette syndrome.

Craig Carton was on Friday, April 5, 2019, sentenced by Chief Judge Colleen McMahon in Manhattan federal court to 3½ years in prison for a ticket reselling scam that ended his broadcast partnership with ex-NFL quarterback Boomer Esiason.
He was convicted in November of conspiracy, wire fraud and securities fraud.
The prison term was half what prosecutors sought after Carton was convicted at a November trial of soliciting and then largely gambling away nearly $7 million.
United States attorney for the Southern District of New York, Geoffrey S. Berman said in a release that Carton’s ticket reselling business, which purported to use his connections to score good seats for events like Metallica and Barbra Streisand concerts, was an “elaborate fiction.”
He blamed his fall from a measure of celebrity and wealth on “wildly stupid decisions” he made as he tried to cope with memories of sexual abuse he suffered at age 11.
Craig Carton said memories of the abuse were triggered by revelations of the crimes of Jerry Sandusky, a former assistant Penn State football coach who was convicted of child sexual abuse in 2012. That led him first to speak angrily and more emotionally than he ever had before on WFAN’s “Boomer and Carton” show, which he co-hosted for years with Esiason.
He recalled turning to blackjack and eventually developed a gambling addiction so serious that winning and losing became irrelevant.
The Judge ordered Craig Carton to pay $4.8 million in restitution and to forfeit $4.2 million. He also must do 150 hours of community service. He must report to prison on July 15.
