Brogan Biography – Brogan Wiki

Brogan is one of the home sewers on the eighth series of The Great British Sewing Bee on BBC One. She is a Secondary School Teacher in Leicestershire. Originally from Edinburgh, Brogan teaches Spanish and French at a secondary school in Derbyshire. She has just bought her first home in Leicestershire with her fiancé and they share it with Roger the sausage dog who has a handmade wardrobe courtesy of Brogan.

After watching the first Sewing Bee when she was a child with her mum, Brogan was inspired to start sewing as a result. Since receiving her first sewing machine aged 15 as a Christmas present and teaching herself via YouTube videos, she’s never looked back.

She now enjoys replicating high street clothes for herself which are chic and ultra feminine – usually with a tier, a frill or ruffle. Even on a supermarket run she will make a fashion statement by wearing a handmade puff sleeve creation.

Brogan is a contestant on the eighth series of The Great British Sewing Bee 2022 on BBC One. The home sewer announced her appearance on the BBC One’s competition on Instagram, writing, “Well the secret is well and truly out… I’ll be buzzing on to your tv screens next week! I can’t get over how many of you have already sent me your well wishes and left lovely comments. Your support means the world so from the bottom of my heart…thank you.”
