Bobby Jolly is the boyfriend of Hannah Daughtry, the daughter of singer Chris Daughtry. On November 12, 2021, 25-year-old Hannah Daughtry was found dead at her home in Nashville. Her death was ruled a homicide. Hannah’s boyfriend, Bobby Jolly, was arrested and taken to Fentress County Jail, according to TMZ — though it wasn’t immediately clear if his arrest was related to the purported homicide.
A Fentress County sheriff’s deputy told The Post on November 13, 2021, that Jolly is being held in the jail there pending a transfer to the Putnam County jail. The sheriff’s deputy would not discuss the charges, nor would an officer at the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department, who spoke to The Post on the phone.

On April 23, 2021, Bobby Jolly of Rockwood and Hannah Price Daughtry of Nashville were involved in a road rage incident on Interstate 40 in Putnam County, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP). THP was alerted about a hit-and-run driver on the interstate, according to THP Lt. Bill Miller. According to a release from Miller, “It was reported that the fleeing driver allegedly shot at another vehicle in an apparent road rage incident.”
Trooper Donnie Clark of the agency’s Interdiction Plus Unit spotted what appeared to be the hit-and-run driver’s vehicle and pulled it over. The release added that “during the trooper’s interview, both the driver and passenger admitted to using a gun to intimidate the victim but denied firing the weapon. During the search of the vehicle, a .22-caliber rifle was recovered.” Bobby Jolly and Hannah Daughtry were taken to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office for booking.
