Annelies Webb is an Irish Jeweller and the owner of Me Jewellies. She previously worked as a flight attendant. She appears on BBC 1’s Make it at Market.

Irish Jeweller Annelies Webb began her jewellery journey in December 2018 after signing up for a part-time jewellery-making class in Dublin.

She booked on to more part-time classes, watched videos, and read books about goldsmithing. Her friends and family began to ask her to make pieces for them and it grew from there.

Now, Annelies has her own website, she attends markets in Glasgow, takes commission work, she is a tutor in Glasgow Jewellery School Vanilla Ink and is a contributor to Make it At Market.

Annelies Webb is a budding entrepreneur on the first series of BBC 1 Make it at Market. The show is hosted by The Repair Shop expert Dominic Chinea.

Webb revealed she was taking part in the BBC 1 show on Instagram writing: “Soooooo…..I have some pretty epic news!!!! I have just wrapped filming for a new BBC series that’s all about turning your hobby into a business.

“It has been an absolute whirlwind in the most amazing way and I can’t wait for you all to see ME on your Telly 🤣There’s so many talented makers on the show and I can’t wait to see how they got on their journey. I’m so grateful for this amazing opportunity…it’s fucking mad!!!!!🤣

“Don’t have a date for when it will air but looking around Autumn time 🙊.”

Following the announcement of the episode she will feature she said:” Does anyone remember about 5months I announced I was going to be a new BBC1 show called Make it At Market???

“YEAH?!!!! Well I can finally say the show will be airing on BBC1 from the 2nd Jan @ 4.30 pm and my episode will be WEDNESDAY 11th JAN @ 4.30 pm

“AHHHHHHHHHHHHH IM SO EXCITED. I hope everyone can tune in for this. There are about 28 makers turning their hobby into a business. If you can’t tune in when it airs we’ll be on iPlayer too…teeheheh.”
