Amanda Balk is a Dutch media personality and model. She mainly gained recognition among the general public through her participation in various television programs such as De Gouden Kooi and Real girls in the jungle. In 2004 she began to appear as a model in various magazines and campaigns. In February 2007, she gained national fame when she entered the villa of the television program De Gouden Kooi at the age of nineteen. She was more than one year and four months in the program that was broadcast every working day on Tien and later on RTL 5. She was in the program until the final which was broadcast on May 23, 2008, she finished in third place.

In 2011 she appeared in the RTL 5 program Real girls in the jungle. During the filming of the program, she got into a heated argument with Michella Kox (one of the other participants) that eventually ended in a brawl. After that brawl, several quarrels arose between the two, as a result of which she decided to leave the program voluntarily.
