Alice Hewson is an English professional golfer. Hewson currently competes on the Ladies European Tour (LET) and the Symetra Tour. She began playing golf at the age of 6 years old. Hewson played her first tournament on her 7th birthday. She had a very bright amateur career, some of Alice Hewson’s amateur highlights include; winning the 2010 England U13 Championship, the 2013 Scottish U16 Championship and Daily Telegraph Championship, the 2015 Cougar Classic, and Lady Paladin, the 2018 Clemson Invitational, and the 2019 European Ladies Amateur Championship.

She has made several team appearances as an amateur including; the Junior Vagliano Trophy representing GB&I in 2013, the Vagliano Trophy representing Great Britain & Ireland in 2015, 2017, and 2019. In 2016 she represented GB&I and won the Curtis Cup. Hewson represented England at the European Girls’ Team Championship in 2013 and 2014. She was a member of the English victorious team at the European Ladies’ Team Championship in 2016 and 2017. She also represented England at the Espirito Santo Trophy.

Hewson turned professional in September 2019. In 2020, she finished 5th at LET Q-School at La Manga Club and started playing on the Ladies European Tour. On 14 March 2020, Hewson earned her first victory on the LET at the Investec South African Women’s Open. She also won at the 2020 Rose Ladies Series Grand Final. Hewson attended Clemson University where she studied Business administration. She also played her collegiate golf with the Clemson Tigers. Hewson graduated in May 2019. When she is not on the golf course, she enjoys swimming.
