Elizabeth Nagel is an American professional golfer. She currently competes on the Symetra Tour and the LPGA Tour. Nagel started playing golf at the age of 4 years old but she began playing competitively at the age of 8 years old. She attended DeWitt High School in Michigan. While at DeWitt, Nagel helped her school to a Division II state title in 2007 and she was named Michigan Miss Golf. Nagel won 4 league titles and 3 regional championships at DeWitt. At age 13, Nagel was the youngest player to qualify for the Michigan Women’s Amateur Match Play. She reached the quarterfinals of match play at the Michigan Women’s Amateur in 2006 and 2008.

She went on to join Michigan State University where she graduated with a degree in hospitality business. Liz graduated in 2014. Nagel played collegiate golf for the Michigan State Spartans. She was a 3-year starter for the Michigan State Spartans and finished her career with 5 top-five finishes, 8 top-10 finishes, and the fourth-lowest scoring average in school history (75.65). She helped lead the Michigan State Spartans to 3 Big 10 titles during her career.

Liz turned professional in 2014. In 2015, she played the 2014 LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament, she finished tied for 35th to earn Priority List Category 17 status for the 2015 season. In 2019 playing on the Symetra Tour, she competed in 19 starts making 13 cuts, and recorded 2 top 15 finishes. Nagel also finished T16 at the 2019 LPGA Q-Series to regain LPGA Tour status. Since turning professional, Liz has one professional win at the 2018 Michigan Women’s Open. She is from DeWitt, Michigan.
