Alexander Knappe is a German professional golfer, who has played on the European Tour, Pro Golf Tour, Challenge Tour and Sunshine Tour. He has won three times on the Pro Golf Tour and four times on the Challenge Tour.
Knappe turned professional in 2011. He earned a maiden season in the Race to Dubai after a breakthrough 2016 on the European Challenge Tour, where an incredible fortnight in China secured him third place in the Road to Oman Rankings.
Victory at the rain-affected Hainan Open – his second win of the year following a maiden title at the Swiss Challenge presented by Association Suisse de Golf – was followed by a runner-up finish in the Foshan Open.
