Aaron Cockerill is a Canadian professional golfer on the European Tour. The Winnipeg native finished tied for second at the 2022 Magical Kenya Open. Cockerill is looking to secure his maiden DP World Tour title at the 2023 ISPS Handa Championship at PGM Ishioka Golf Club in Omitama, Japan. However, he will have to fight off a stellar chasing pack of Australian Lucas Herbert, Scotland’s David Law, Rikuya Hoshino, Takumi Kanaya, Jazz Janewattananond and Rafa Cabrera Bello.

Cockerill played at Stonewall Collegiate High School, where he was a four-time zone champion. He played three years on the Team Manitoba province squad and was named the 2010 Manitoba Golfer of the Year.

In 2010, Cockerill competed in nine events (27 rounds) for Texas A&M University–Commerce as a true freshman. He led the team with a 75.19 scoring average, then transfered to the University of Idaho. He earned second-team all-Western Athletic Conference honors as a junior and first-team all-Western Athletic Conference honors as a senior.
