Vassi Naidoo was a renowned South African businessman and the chairman of Nedbank. According to Vassi Naidoo’s LinkedIn profile, he served as the chairman of Nedbank from May 2015 to September 2021. Naidoo was born in Durban, South Africa where he attended the Chatsworth High School. He later graduated from the University of Durban-Westville, with a bachelor of commerce. Vassi graduated in 1976. He led with deep integrity and excellence. The Board extends its deepest sympathies to his wife Sheila, daughter Carmeni, and his extended family.”

As our Chairman, he has made an indelible mark on Nedbank and during his long executive career at Deloitte he had a lasting influence on the lives of many young chartered accountants and the transformation of the accounting profession.” He added; “We are grateful for his guidance, leadership and wise counsel.
