Tyrone White’s father, Tyrone White, died in a car crash in Broward Couty on Sunday, September 20, 2020, according to MDPD Director Alfredo Ramirez. His wife, Lisa, was also in the car and is in critical condition, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport and NFL Network’s Mike Giardi.
Ramirez tweeted: “Iām extremely saddened after learning of the passing of MDPD Captain Tyrone White earlier today as a result of an off-duty traffic crash in Broward County. James White was informed prior to the New England Patriots’ Sunday Night Football game against the Seattle Seahawks and was on the Patriots inactive list for the game.
During Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks, Patriots safety Devin McCourty celebrated a first-quarter touchdown by looking into the camera and saying “Two-eight!
