Toni-Ann Singh from Jamaica was crowned Miss World 2019 on Saturday, December 14, 2019, during the 69th edition of the pageant held at the ExCeL in London, England.
Singh is the fourth contestant from Jamaica to win the Miss World crown — Carole Joan Crawford in 1963, Cindy Breakspeare in 1976 and Lisa Hanna in 1993.
Singh took to Instagram to celebrate her win. She wrote, “My Jamaica, sweet Jamaica🇯🇲we did it! Wah we seh? LIKKLE BUT WE TALLAWAH. My heart is filled with love and gratitude.
