Syd McGee is the CEO at Studio McGee and a star in the Netflix show, Dream Home Makeover. He previously served as the CEO of Terrain Digital Media from Jun 2013 – Jun 2014. He also served as the Account Manager for Bloosky Interactive, LLC from Aug 2007 – Dec 2008. Bloosky Interactive is an Internet marketing company that is based in San Clemente, California.

He attended Utah Valley University where he studied Marketing from 2006 – 2007. He also studied Digital Marketing at General Assembly from 2013 – 2014.

We’ve had lots of new faces join us here recently and I thought it would be a good time to reintroduce ourselves! Hi! I’m Shea and this is my husband Syd — about 8 years ago I started a small design business out of our spare bedroom and started posting photos to Instagram. After a particularly challenging year in our lives, we sold our home, Syd’s truck, and most of our possessions…and moved from California to Utah to pursue our dream of creating a brand with the idea in mind that good design could feel approachable. We have spent nearly 6 years pouring everything we have into building Studio McGee, our design firm that designs high-end homes across the country and @mcgeeandco our online store. What started as just the 2 of us is now a team of 80 talented souls.
