Sissi Tuchel is the wife of Thomas Tuchel, a German professional football coach and former player. His playing career came to an end at age 24, due to a chronic knee cartilage injury. He completed a degree in business administration and began his coaching career in 2000. During his coaching career, he has managed VfB Stuttgart, FC Augsburg II, Mainz 05, Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain, and is currently the head coach at Premier League club Chelsea.
Sissi previously worked for the Süddeutsche Zeitung, one of the largest daily newspapers in Germany. Although she is not involved in footballing decisions, Sissi is said to be a huge support to her husband.
