Ron Durbin Arrest
Tulsa attorney Ron Durbin was arrested at the Tulsa County Courthouse on Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2023. The incident was livestreamed on his law firm’s Facebook page and showed deputies physically restraining Durbin as he lay face-down on the concrete.
The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office released the following statement on the arrest:
“After review of the video and all pertinent reports regarding this incident, the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office believes our deputies acted appropriately and within state law and our own policies and procedures during the arrest of Mr. Durbin.
“Mr. Durbin was checked out and has been medically cleared for booking. His mug shot will be available on the jail website once the booking process is complete.”
Durbin posted $1,000 bond on the assault and battery charge and was released from jail around 2:40 p.m. Wednesday.
