Nathaniel Berhow is the shooter in the shooting at Saugus High School in Santa Clarita, California. He allegedly stormed into Saugus High School just before classes began on Thursday, November 14 and killed two students and injured at least three others with a .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol before turning the gun on himself. He is currently hospitalized in grave condition from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
He was a student at Saugus High School. According to Athletic.net, Berhow ran track and field for the school and competed in the 800-meter and 1600 meter races while a sophomore at Saugus.

The shooting happened at around 7:30 a.m. local time, near the start of the school day. According to Kent Wegener, captain of the L.A. County Sheriff’s homicide bureau, police arrived at the scene and found six people with gunshot wounds in the school’s quad area. The six were transported to a local hospital, where the suspected shooter was identified among the victims.
According to Patrick Moody, spokesperson for Henry Mayo Hospital, a 15-year-old girl and 14-year-old boy died at the hospital. The two victims in the shooting were identified as Gracie Muehlberger, 15-year-old, and 14-year-old Dominic Blackwell.
