Moriya Jutanugarn is a Thai professional golfer. She currently competes on the U.S based LPGA Tour. Jutanugarn had a very successful amateur career, some of her amateur career highlights include; Winning the 2008 Junior Open Championship, the 2009 Duke of York Young Champions Trophy, and the 2012 South Atlantic Ladies Amateur. In 2009, she became the first female to win the Duke of York Young Champions Trophy.

Moriya turned professional in November 2012. She qualified for the LPGA Tour on her first attempt after earning the co-medalist honors at the 2012 LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament. Moriya joined the LPGA Tour in 2013, she played 24 events and made 18 cuts. She recorded six top-20 finishes including a season-best tie for 4th at the ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open. Moriya was presented with the Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year honors, she defeated German Caroline Masson by just one point for the award.

In 2014, she played in 30 events and made 23 cuts, Moriya also recorded a season-best finish which was a tie for 4th at the Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic. Moriya was a member of Team Thailand at the inaugural UL International Crown. In 2015, she competed in 29 events and made 20 cuts. In 2016, she played in 29 events making 24 cuts, she also recorded two top-10 finishes. The same year she was a member of Team Thailand at the UL International Crown.

In 2017, she played 28 events and missed one cut. Moriya recorded 11 top-10 finishes including two runner-ups and crossed the $2 million mark in career earnings following her T15 finish at the U.S. Women’s Open. In 2018, she played 28 events and made 26 cuts. On 22 April 2018, Moriya won at the Hugel-JTBC LA Open becoming a Rolex First-Time Winner. Moriya was also a Member of Team Thailand at the UL International Crown and Amata Friendship Cup which they won.
