Mia Biography – Mia Wiki
Mia is a contestant on The Great British Sewing Bee 2023. She started sewing during lockdown after her mum bought a sewing machine.
According to the BBC, she was due to go to university before the pandemic, but deferred for two years, and in that time she fell in love with sewing.
What started as a hobby became an idea that she would love to sew professionally, and so she applied to study costume design, which she is due to start after The Sewing Bee.
She has been working as a maths and science tutor for local children during her gap year.
The Sewing Bee contestant lives at home with her mum, dad and older brother in Surrey. She has a close relationship with her family, and in her spare time enjoys lots of craft hobbies: crocheting garments, making stained glass art and pottery.

She is the youngest contestant on Great British Sewing Bee 2023 at 20 – the eldest, Gillie, is 73.
