Maverick McNealy is an American professional golfer. He currently competes on the PGA Tour. He was previously a member of the Korn Ferry Tour. McNealy is the son of Scott McNealy, a prominent American businessman, and founder. His father co-founded the computer technology company Sun Microsystems in the early 1980s.

In late 2016 and early 2017, McNealy was the number one ranked golfer in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. He had a very successful amateur career, winning the 2014 OFCC Fighting Illini Invite, and SW Invite. In 2015 he won The Prestige at PGA West, The Goodwin, Pac-12 Championships, NCAA Chapel Hill Regional, Northern California Amateur Match Play, OFCC Fighting Illini Invite, U.S. Collegiate Championship, and the Gifford Collegiate-CordeValle. In 2016 he won Western Intercollegiate and the Nike Collegiate Invite.

McNealy also made several U.S. national team appearances including, winning twice at the Arnold Palmer Cup in 2015 and 2017. He also played at the Walker Cup in 2015 and won it in 2017. In 2016, he represented the United States in the Eisenhower Trophy. After the 2017 Walker Cup, McNealy turned professional and made his professional debut at the Safeway Open. In 2018, he competed on the Web.com Tour. He played in 18 events, making the cut in 12 events. McNealy earned his best finish a tie for 3rd at the United Leasing and at the Finance Championship. McNealy secured his PGA Tour card for the 2019–2020 season, through his finish on the 2019 Korn Ferry Tour. In September 2021, he earned a runner-up finish at the Fortinet Championship, McNealy finished one stroke behind winner Max Homa.

The California native attended The Harker School where he played golf and soccer. He also captained San Jose Junior Sharks in ice hockey for four years. He received the Harker’s Director’s Award. McNealy attended Stanford University where he earned his degree in Management Science and Engineering. He graduated in 2017.
