Matt Golinski is an Australian professional chef. He is known for often appearing in the popular television show ‘Ready Steady Cook’ on Network Ten, as one of the show’s original team members. Matt is very experienced and he has had the opportunity to work as executive chef at some of Queensland’s leading restaurants and founded his own catering company.

He is based on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, where he enjoys serving as a consulting chef to restaurants. He also appears as a regular guest chef at festivals and events. Matt has a blog where he writes and publishes his popular food columns. Matt is an active member of the Slow Food movement and a motivational speaker. Since 2015, he has been serving as the Gympie Region Food & Culinary Tourism Ambassador. He helps promote their brand as a world-class food destination. He had to undergo 24 surgeries. In April 2013, Matt made a return to the public, cooking on the stage at the Jan Power Farmer’s Market in the Brisbane CBD.
