Lauren Steadman is a British Paralympic athlete who was born without a right forearm. She was born on 18 December 1992 in Peterborough, England.
Steadman attended Mount Kelly in Tavistock, Devon, and earned a Master’s degree in Business and Management at the University of Portsmouth.
Lauren has competed in three Summer Paralympics, in both swimming and the paratriathlon. She competed at both the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing and the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London as a simmer. She then switched to the paratriathlon for the 2016 Games in Rio where she won a solver medal in the Women’s PT4.
