Kola Bokinni is an Irish-Nigerian actor. He is best known for playing Isaac McAdoo, the captain of AFC Richmond, in the hugely popular Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso. He has also starred in London-based drama Top Boy and an episode of Charlie Brooker’s acclaimed series Black Mirror.
Kola trained at the BRIT school as a teenager. Since then he’s worked prolifically on screen. Feature films include Hunter Killer (Lionsgate), VS. (BBC films) and Annihilation (Paramount Pictures). For TV he has recurring roles in Top Boy (Netflix) and Crims (BBC) and guest roles on Netflix’s Black Mirror, Cursed and Cuffs for BBC.
