Kodi Lee is a 22-year old blind and autistic musical prodigious savant. He is both blind and autistic. He was born with optic nerve hypoplasia, and nearly died when he was just 5 days old. He was diagnosed with autism at age 4.
According to Kodi Lee’ biography on his official website, he has been performing his singing and piano expertise all across the globe for many years. He currently performs locally at a variety of venues including local restaurants, wineries, and music events all around town. Recently he was invited to perform at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City. His musical repertoire ranges from rock to jazz, to R & B, and pop. Plus his mastery of the classics such as Bach, Chopin, Mozart and the list goes on.

On Wednesday night, Kodi Lee was named the winner of “America’s Got Talent” Season 14. “I feel so amazing, unbelievable,” Lee said after host Terry Crews asked him to describe how he was feeling.
Lee beat out finalists including the Detroit Youth Choir, comedian Ryan Niemiller and acrobatic dance group V. Unbeatable to win the $1 million prize and headliner status for an “AGT” show in Las Vegas.
Last season, Kodi was on hand to support best friend Mikayla Phillips, who earned a coveted golden buzzer and made it all the way to the semi-finals. The two regularly perform together at local gigs, and just like he supported Mikayla throughout her entire journey on the series, Mikayla’s now returning the favor.
