Kim Porter born Kimberly Antwinette Porter, was a model, actress and ex-girlfriend of Sean Combs. She was born on December 16, 1971 in Columbus, Georgia, United States.

Kim Porter graduated from Columbus High School in 1988 at the age of 17, and later moved to New York City to pursue a modeling and acting career. She captured the attention of some of New York’s top modeling agencies and signed with Wilhelmina Agency.

As an actress, Kim Porter appeared in numerous films and TV shows including Single Ladies, The Brothers and Mama, I Want To Sing and Wicked Wicked Games. She also made appearances on shows including Law & Order and  on Diddy’s show, “I Want to Work for Diddy.”

Kim Porter died on November 15, 2018. She was found at her Toluca Lake home in Los Angeles. Diddy’s representative, Cindi Berger, confirmed her death saying, “Sadly, I can confirm the passing of Kim Porter. I ask that you give the families privacy at this time.”

According to TMZ, the emergency dispatch call came in as a patient in cardiac arrest. A source said that Kim had been suffering pneumonia and had been seeing a doctor.

Kim Porter died on November 15, 2018. On November 16, 2018, an autopsy was performed on Porter and a cause of death was deferred pending further investigation.

On January 25, 2019, The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner determined Kim Porter’s cause of death was Lobar Pneumonia. The manner of death was certified as natural.

Kim Porter’s funeral service was held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Cascade Hills Church in Columbus, Georgia. Those who spoke at the funeral service include Diddy, son Quincy, Mary J. Blige and Dallas Austin. Yolanda Adams and Faith Evans paid musical tribute. The funeral service was officiated by Bishop Noel Jones who also delivered the eulogy. Kim was laid to rest in Evergreen Memorial Park next to her mother, the late Sarah Porter.

Shortly before Porter’s funeral began Combs wrote on Twitter, “Today we lay to rest our ANGEL. Her spirit lives on with us FOREVER!!! We thank you all for your prayers and support. You have no idea how much it means to us. We thank GOD for all of you.”
