Karli Ritter an American journalist. She is known as a meteorologist for Fox 4 News. Karli joined FOX 4 in March of 2007 as a weather forecaster for FOX 4 News. She also earned her Certified Broadcast Meteorologist seal in November 2007 from the American Meteorological Society. Karli’s passion for weather started at a young age while she was growing up in Florida. She attended Florida State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology. While at Florida State University, her involvement with a student-run weather show started her on the path to becoming a television meteorologist, after graduating she worked in Sarasota, Fla, and Montgomery, Alabama.
Karli later moved to Kansas City, where she has been involved with many charities around town and loves serving as a master of ceremonies at their fundraisers. She is also a philanthropist and a co-founder of Heroes For Hospice which is a non-profit making organization involved in giving back to hospice care by raising funds through the annual 5K walkathon and reverse raffle. When she’s not in the FOX4 Weather Center, she likes traveling, cooking, yoga, spending time on boats, and playing or watching sports.
