Mark Epstein is the younger brother of Jeffrey Epstein and owner of New York City real estate company Ossa Properties.
According to an online profile, Mark Epstein is the Founder of the IZMO Family of Companies. He is also the owner of Dara Partners, LP and Ossa Properties Inc, real estate ownership and management companies of commercial and residential properties. He was a co-founder of King Graphic technologies, Inc, which innovated production of super large format digital outputting.
Epstein was a member of the Board of Directors of The Humpty Dumpty Institute. The Humpty Dumpty Institute works with the United Nations in attempts to rebuild developing countries. The group was founded in 1988 by Constance Milstein.
The organization says on its website that Mark is the institute’s vice chairman. In June 2015, Mark hosted a “working dinner” for the Humpty Dumpty Institute’s “48th Congressional Delegation to the United Nations.” Among those in attendance were former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Samantha Power, as well as, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Corrine Brown, Paul Tonko and Mark Takano, all Democratic members of congress.
In April 2019, Mark led a congressional delegation including Republicans, Rep. Buddy Carter (R-GA), Rep. Andy Harris (R-MD), Rep. Pete Olson (R-TX), Rep. Garrett Graves (R-LA), as well as Democrats, Rep. Alan Lowenthal and Independent Rep. Gregorio Sablan, to an event being held in Belgium. Mark was also present with a delegation from the institute that went to the United Arab Emirates in March 2019.
He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Exit Art, and the Advisory Committees of the New York String Orchestra Seminar and the Alexander Schneider Concerts at The New School.
Epstein is Chairman of the Board of Trustees at The Cooper Union. He is a former President and Secretary/Treasurer of the Alumni Association and has served on the Nominating Committee, as a Career Counselor and as Class Representative for the School of Art class of 1976. As a past Co-Chair of Phonathon, Epstein has been—and continues to be—instrumental in garnering support for the Annual Fund. He was also the New York City Art Regional Chair for the Campaign for Cooper. In 2002, Mr. Epstein was awarded the Alumnus of the Year Award by The Cooper Union.
