Jan Michael Vincent was an American screen actor. He was best known for his role in the 1980’s TV series Airwolf.
In addition to Airwolf, Vincent starred in such films as 1972’s “The Mechanic,” 1978’s “Hooper,” in which he played a stuntman opposite Burt Reynolds and “Big Wednesday”. He also starred in the 1983 television mini-series “Winds of War” as the love interest of a character played by Ali MacGraw. His final film role was in the 2003 independent film White Boy.
Vincent was nominated for two Golden Globes, once in 1972 for best supporting actor for “Going Home,” and then in 1984 for best performance by an actor in a supporting role for “The Winds of War.”
