Jahmil French was a Canadian actor. He was well known for his regular appearance as Dave Turner in Degrassi, The Next Generation, in 2001, for which he earned a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Performance in a Children’s or Youth Program or Series at the 1st Canadian Screen Awards in 2013, and his performance in the film Boost in 2016, for which he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 6th Canadian Screen Awards in 2018.
