Jac Collinsworth is an American journalist. He is a host and reporter, for NBC Sports Group. Collinsworth joined the NBC Sports Group as a host and reporter in March 2020. In his first task, Collinsworth works as the host of NBC Sports’ digital series, Distanced Training, Ready to Get Back in the Game, which showcases the home workouts and mental training of some of the world’s top professional, collegiate, and Olympic athletes.
Prior to joining NBC Sports, Collinsworth worked for NBC Sports on Notre Dame Football in on- and off-camera capacities. He also served as NBC Olympics’ first-ever social media correspondent at the 2016 Rio Olympics. While still a student at Notre Dame he worked on the sideline production team for Fighting Irish football games on NBC from 2013 to 2017. For three years, he filed weekly player features for head coach Brian Kelly’s nationally-syndicated television show, Inside Notre Dame Football, and was featured on Showtime’s A Season with Notre Dame Football, where he interviewed athletes on his weekly podcast.
Collinsworth also covered Notre Dame Pro Day in 2016 and 2017 for NFL Network. During his last two years of college, Collinsworth co-hosted The Student Section on Sirius XM.
