Hannah Thomas is the rural affairs correspondent for ITV Wales News, ITV Coast & Country, and ITV News. She was previously a reporter and presenter for ITV Wales and Coast & Country. She was ITV Wales’ Valleys Correspondent. She reports on a variety of different stories for Wales at Six and has a keen interest in agriculture and rural life.

Hannah always dreamed of a career in television as a kid. She started in news after doing her postgraduate in broadcast journalism. When she left university at Swansea, she joined ITV1 Wales. She had some fabulous experiences on Wales Tonight, a flagship news programme. She did a number of Royal Welsh Shows and reported for ITV1 Wales’ Rugby World Cup coverage too. She joined The Ferret co-presenting with Chris Segar.

When not working, Hannah told WalesOnline: “It sounds a cliché, but given that I don’t see my family and friends on a regular basis, I really love spending some time with them. Be it a meal, a takeaway or a few glasses of red wine in the local pub, it’s always fabulous to catch up, especially if I haven’t seen them in ages. They always joke that they can see what I’m up to when they turn the telly on, but I can never see what they’re doing!”
