Gaby López is a Mexican professional golfer. Born Maria Gabriela López Butron, started playing golf when she was five at The Club de Golf México ( Mexico´s Golf Club ). López had a very successful amateur career, She won several amateur competitions which includes the 2010 Callaway Junior World (Girls 15–17), Mayakoba Junior Classic, the 2011 Campeonato Nacional Infantil/Juvenil, the 2012 Copa Yucatan Ladies, Campeonato Nacional Interzonas LII, the 2013 Westbrook Invitational, and the 2014 Mexican Amateur, LSU Tiger Classic, Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic.
She played golf at the University of Arkansas where she won three events and was individual runner-up at the 2015 NCAA Division I Championship for the University of Arkansas.
López turned professional in 2015, In 2016 was her rookie year, She started playing on the LPGA Tour in 2016 after finishing T-10 at 2015 qualifying school. During her rookie year, López qualified for the 2016 Summer Olympics and finished 31st. On 10 November 2018, López won her first LPGA Tour event at the Blue Bay LPGA. She became a Rolex First-Time Winner with her win at the Blue Bay LPGA after she aced the 17th hole in the third round on her 25th birthday. The victory made her, joined Lorena Ochoa as the only LPGA winner from Mexico. On January 20, 2020, she earned her second LPGA victory at the Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions.
