Emily Pritchard is an American Anchor, Reporter, and Journalist. She currently working at 7News WHDH after joining the 7News Team in February 2020. She was born and raised in the small town of Waynesville, Missouri, United States. Emily attended the University of Missouri-Columbia. Her television career started at KOMU-TV 8 KMOV-TV in Saint Louis, Missouri in 2011, at the NBC affiliate station, in Columbia, Missouri.
In 2013, she became the morning anchor and reporter, co-anchoring the 4:30 a.m. to 9 am weekday newscast. In January 2015, Emily started working at KXTV/ABC10 in Sacramento, California Area as a weekend anchor and multimedia Journalist. Where she reported the 5 p.m. 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. broadcasts up to January 2017, before joining KMOV-TV, a CBS affiliate network in 2017.
In recent years she has been working at WBND ABC 57 News in South Bend, Indiana. Emily started out as a multimedia journalist focused on the University of Notre Dame Athletics. She still enjoys picking up a camera and reporting any chance she gets. Her work in local news has allowed her to bask in her love of sports, reporting at Super reporting from the NBA Finals in Oakland and Super Bowl XLVI between the Patriots and the Giants in Indianapolis.
