Ella Emhoff is the stepdaughter of US Vice-President Kamala Harris. She is the daughter of Vice-President Harris’s husband Doug Emhoff and his first wife, film producer Kerstin Mackin. She became Kamala Harris’ stepdaughter when Harris married her husband Douglas Emhoff on August 22, 2015, at a private ceremony at the Santa Barbara Courthouse.
