Douglas Emhoff (born Douglas Craig Emhoff) is an American lawyer who is the second gentleman of the United States. He is married to Kamala Harris, the Vice President of the United States. He is the first second gentleman in American history and also the first Jewish spouse of a vice president.
Emhoff has worked as a litigator with several law firms, most recently as a partner at DLA Piper Law Firm, where he worked out of both their California and D.C. offices with a specialty in entertainment and intellectual property law.
