Elaine Binning is an expert on BBC’s Antiques Roadshow, auctioneer and valuer with a particular interest in furniture. She studied Valuation and Auctioneering of Fine Art at the Southampton Institute. She worked in a number of departments at Sotheby’s from 1988 and won her first auctioneers hammer at the ISVA national auction competition in 1991.

Elaine joined Dreweatts in 1992. Since joining, she has been valuing and auctioneering with Dreweatts in Newbury. After a four-year break from Dreweatts as a furniture consultant working in the UK and Georgia, Elaine now continues in the furniture department team.
