Danielle Breed (Danielle Breed Long) was the ex-girlfriend of former professional baseball player Charles Haeger. She owned The Tipsy Coyote Bar and Grill in Scottsdale. Haeger played in the MLB for the Chicago White Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers, and San Diego Padres. He also played in the minor leagues for the Seattle Mariners and Boston Red Sox. His major league baseball career ended in 2010.

Danielle Breed died on Friday, October 2, 2020, at the age of 34. According to police, Charles Haeger killed his ex-girlfriend Danielle Breed, who went by her maiden name of Long, before fleeing. Haeger was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound along the Rim Trail at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon around 4 p.m.
According to CBS Sports, “Scottsdale police reportedly responded to a call of shots fired at the woman’s residence, after her roommate heard gunfire and witnessed Haeger coming out of the woman’s bedroom with a gun. Haeger then pointed the gun at the man, who was able to get to a neighbor’s house and call 911.”
