Brian D. Goldner was the president and chief executive officer of the Pawtucket-based toymaker Hasbro Inc., which was founded in 1923. He joined Hasbro in 2000 from toymaker Bandai America Inc. as operating chief. He was appointed CEO in 2008 and became Chairman of the Board in 2015. The company makes Monopoly, My Little Pony and toys for a number of well-known entertainment brands including Star Wars and Marvel.

Goldner was instrumental in transforming the Company into a global play and entertainment leader, architecting a strategic Brand Blueprint to create the world’s best play and storytelling experiences, the company said.
