Aundrea Cline-Thomas Biography – Aundrea Cline-Thomas Wiki

Aundrea Cline-Thomas is an American award winning journalist, reporter and fill-in anchor. She joined CBS New York as a general assignment reporter in October 2018. She also fills in on the anchor desk and contributes to the streaming platform CBSN New York.
She is passionate about telling creative, engaging and memorable stories that center marginalized voices. Simply put, in addition to the facts her stories have heart.

Prior to coming to New York City, she worked in Philadelphiawhere she reported for three years, Nashville, Charlotte and Macon, GA. She also wrote profiles about women in business for the Know Your Value women’s empowerment digital platform created by MSNBC Morning Joe co-host and author Mika Brzezinski. She is the recipient of two regional Emmy awards and the Philadelphia Association of Black Journalists named her the Broadcast Journalist of the year in 2017.

She got her first on air reporting job at WMGT-TV in Georgia. She then moved to what is now known as Spectrum News in Charlotte, N.C. She won her first regional Emmy award during her time at WTVF-TV, the CBS affiliate in Nashville, Tennessee.

Aundrea received her Bachelors degree in Communications with a minor in Black Studies from Boston College and a Master’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Maryland, College Park.
