Amad Diallo is an Ivorian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Premier League club Manchester United. On 5 October 2020, Manchester United agreed with Atalanta to sign Diallo in January 2021, subject to medical, personal terms, and a work permit. He officially joined Manchester United on 7 January 2021, on a four-and-a-half-year contract with the option of an extra year. Manchester United agreed to sign the winger for £37.2million.

Diallo was born in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, on 11 July 2002, and moved to Italy as a child, where his football journey began. Settling in the northern Emilia-Romagna region, Diallo moved to Bibbiano and soon joined local amateur club Boca Barco. After trials with Juventus, AC Milan, and Internazionale, Diallo opted to sign for Atalanta at the age of 13.
Diallo featured twice for Atalanta’s first team in the 2020/21 season, both as a substitute in home games. He came on as a 77th-minute substitute against Hellas Verona in Serie A on 28 November 2020, and then made his Champions League debut on 1 December, coming on in the 68th minute against FC Midtyjlland. He made a total of five senior appearances for the Italian club and scored one goal, on his debut against Udinese on 27 October 2019. He became the first player born in 2002 to score in the Italian top flight.
