Alyson Hannigan is an American actress. Beginning her career by appearing in commercials, at the age of 11 she moved to Hollywood where she got signed by an agent.
Her acting career started in Atlanta at the young age of 4. She began by appearing in commercials sponsoring such companies as McDonald’s, Six Flags, and Oreos.
She is a renowned television actress, guest starring in Picket Fences, Roseanne, Touched by an Angel, and The Torkelsons. That was prior to starring in her most notorious roles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer as “Willow Rosenberg” and How I Met Your Mother (2005) as “Lily Aldrin.”

In 2012, she reprised the role of Michelle in American Reunion. From 2016 to 2022, Hannigan hosted the television series Penn & Teller: Fool Us. Hannigan played Ann Possible, Kim’s mother, in the Disney Channel original film Kim Possible, based on the animated series.
