Louise Regan Biography – Louise Regan Wiki

Louise Regan is an artist, stone carver, and illustrator, based in North Oxfordshire. She appears in the second series of Make it at Market on BBC 1.

Regan works predominantly in ink and watercolour: the perfect media for her intricate, detailed work. In some pieces, she captures an imaginary landscape, sometimes historical, inviting the viewer to visit and explore, creating their narrative through fascination and intrigue.

Her other works are celebrations of architecture, sometimes in surreal form. Throughout, Louise’s love of medieval art is evident, portrayed through her use of detail, symbolism, and a palette of rich colors.

She is also a highly sought-after commissioning artist, specializing in creating unique property ‘portraits’. Her approach to capturing the character of buildings ensures each finished piece is very personal to the homeowner.

One of her stone sculptures was accepted for the Worshipful Company of Masons’ annual exhibition while a level 1 student and three were accepted for an exhibition.

Louise has illustrated two books, a book of poems To the Future, Love Cropredy by Heather Wastie, and a collection of ‘bizarre’ recipes Deadly Dining – Judy Dyble’s Disastrous Delicacies by singer/songwriter Judy Dyble.
