Yulia Navalnaya Biography – Yulia Navalnaya Wiki
Yulia Navalnaya is the wife of Alexei Navalny, a Russian politician, lawyer and founder of the Anti-Corruption Foundation. In 2008, Navalny first became known to the general public when he published the proofs of embezzlement of funds by Russia’s major state corporations, according to Alexey Navalny’s biography on his official website. Navalnaya holds a degree in economics from a Moscow university. Alexey Navalny has two higher education degrees. In 1997, he graduated from the People’s Friendship University of Russia (lawyer), and in 2001 — from the Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation (economist).
In August, while Navalny was in a coma and hospitalized in the Russian city of Omsk after he fell ill on a flight from Siberia to Moscow, Navalnaya got him transferred by medical aircraft to Germany. While Navalny was fighting for his life, she regularly kept journalists informed of his condition. Navalny’s allies accused doctors of being pressured by Russia’s security services to hide that he was poisoned. Navalnaya also made sure medical experts that arrived from Germany were able to get access to her husband. She directly addressed President Vladimir Putin — the man Navalny accuses of ordering the poisoning — requesting permission to let them take her husband to Berlin.
