Tom Kirdahy born Thomas Joseph Kirdahy is a Tony and Olivier Award-winning theatre producer on Broadway and in the West End as well as a lawyer. His projects have spanned Broadway, off-Broadway, the West End, and national and international tours. He is currently producing the highly-anticipated upcoming Broadway production of THE INHERITANCE, the smash-hit HADESTOWN (8 Tony Awards including Best Musical), the off-Broadway revival of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS starring Tammy Blanchard, Jonathan Groff, and Christian Borle, the off-Broadway premiere of THE WHITE CHIP, and the ANASTASIA tour.
He attended New York University and graduated as valedictorian of his class in 1985 with a BA in politics and dramatic literature. “He served as a student senator and one of the first openly gay chairs of the University Committee on Student Life (UCSL) and the Student Senators Council (SSC).” He then went on to NYU School of Law in the hopes of being an entertainment lawyer.

Terrence McNally Death
He died on March 24, 2020, at the age of 81. He died of complications due to coronavirus. He was a lung cancer survivor with chronic pulmonary disease and died Tuesday at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Sarasota, Florida. He was 81 years old at the time of his death.
McNally’s death was confirmed by his spokesperson Matt Polk. The Tony Award-winning playwright is survived by his husband, Broadway producer Tom Kirdahy.
