It has been the saddest and toughest time of our lives and we don’t know how much time it will take for us to overcome this pain.

According to law enforcement sources, Stefanie Sherk was found by her husband on April 12, 2019 at the bottom of the family’s swimming pool at the family’s Sherman Oaks home after he had returned from grocery shopping.
Bichir and another family member immediately called paramedics, and when emergency responders arrived they were able to successfully resuscitate Sherk and transported her to a local hospital. She spent the next 8 days in the hospital before passing away on April 20. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner confirmed that Stefanie Sherk’s cause of death was a suicide.
