Scott Vail Biography – Scott Vail Wiki
Scott Vail is a Canadian professional golf caddie on the PGA Tour. He has caddied for some of the Tour’s most prolific golfers including Keegan Bradley and Henrik Stenson.
Following a half-dozen events as Henrik Stenson’s caddie, the two split following the WGC-Mexico Championship in February 2019.
Vail worked at the Oshawa Golf Club and it was there he met and became friends with another junior golfer named Derek Gillespie. When Gillespie returned home to turn pro after his golf scholarship at the University of Arizona concluded, Vail began caddying for him on the Canadian and Nationwide Tours (the latter now is called the Web.com Tour).
Brandt Snedeker Caddie
PGA Tour golfer Brandt Snedeker and his caddie Scott Vail have had a lengthy partnership of over a decade. The player-caddie duo have more than eight wins including the 2012 FedEx Cup and the 2022 ZOZO Championship.
In January 2018, Golf Channel reported that Brandt Snedeker and his caddie Scott Vail had split.
“Scott is a great friend, great caddie, and more importantly a great man,” said Snedeker in a statement released by his agent. “We both reached a point where we felt it was time to go our separate ways and pursue other opportunities. I wish Scott the best and know whoever is lucky enough to land him will get one of the best caddies in the world.”
Keegan Bradley won the 2022 ZOZO Championship at the Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club, Chiba, Japan with caddie Scott Vail on the bag.
